DerDieDas library "Bücherwald"

On 6 May 2023, DerDieDas Bücherwald opened its doors for the first time.  A German library and a place to meet and mingle with like-minded people, the library has been a success since its opening day.

Every month we have enjoyed welcoming happy visitors - old and young, familiar and new faces - and are looking forward to  many more get-togethers at the monthly library sessions.

 DerDieDas Bücherwald is open to anyone interested and equally welcomes members that are not participating in any DerDieDas programs. With a collection of over 5,000 items, our library features media for all ages: from children's books and nursery rhymes, to Tiptoi discovery books and Tonies to listen to, teenage literature, as well as adult fiction and special interest books.

DerDieDas Bücherwald is 100% volunteer run. The continuity of our library is dependent on our valued helpers, our members. It is a great way to meet and connect with others so please don't be shy to get involved! While it is only a small contribution of your time throughout the year, we do understand that this may not be possible for everyone and, hence, offer an alternative membership option that does not require any volunteering.
